FIRST-TO-FILE RULE

Where two or more applications for identical or similar marks which are to be used on identical or similar designated goods 
are filed on different dates, only the applicant who filed the application on the earliest filing date may obtain the trademark
registration.

NECESSARY DOCUMENTS

(ⅰ) Name(s), Address(es) and Nationality of Applicant and Inventor(s);
(ⅱ) Class of designated goods 
(ⅲ) Specimen of the mark 
(ⅳ) Original copy of the Power of Attorney signed by applicant or representative if applicant is a legal entity; and 
(ⅴ) Certified copy of the priority document (if claimed)

PRIORITY DOCUMENTS

A certified copy of priority document(s) and a Korean translation(s) thereof must be filed within three (3) months from the filing 
date of the application.
