In Jae CHOI, a partner at HANSUNG, has practiced in the intellectual property field since 2002, specializing in chemistry and biotechnology. He obtained a B.S. degree in chemistry from Korea University in 2002 and passed the 44th Patent Bar in 2007. He has worked with both domestic and foreign clients to manage patent prosecution including: preparing and filing new patent applications, amendments and responses to Office Actions, and appeal briefs; interviews with Examiners; technical and legal analysis for patent invalidity, in the area of organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry and biology. 

In Jae CHOI is also specialized in U.S. IP law and practice. He was admitted to the U.S. Patent Bar in 2015, and has been trained to manage prosecution of U.S. patent applications including drafting new patent applications, amendments to claims, and other responses to the USPTO at an American law firm, Birch Stewart Kolasch & Birch LLP, for two years.
